For years, the creatine was terrified, it was to be harmful to the kidneys, liver, carcinogen and in general to be a substance that is extremely suspicious. This is nothing new, a similar approach applies to all substitutes for table sugar (sweeteners), blamed for all known diseases. Until now, heterocyclic aromatic amines have been associated with the heat treatment of e.g. meat (in particular, barbecue and frying are harmful). HCA- heterocyclic aromatic amines (these are the most commonly occurring carcinogenic and mutagenic substances) and PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) formed as a result of heat treatment of meat, they were also detected in tea leaves, dairy products, fruits, vegetables, oils and cereals. Mutagenic substances such as PhIP, 8-MeIQx, IFP and 4.8-DiMeIQx arise mainly during the thermal processing of meat, although they were also found in food flavors, beverages (beer, wine) or cigarette smoke Wyss & Kaddurah-Daouk, 2000 Muscular Handsome Bodybuilder With Pills And Dope For Copy Space.

In a study by Renato Tavares dos Santos Pereira et al 2, men and women received placebo (dextrose) or creatine monohydrate (creapure from Alzchem AG), in variants II. 



Blood and urine samples were taken to determine if creatine exerted damaging effects on health. 


The amount of heterocyclic aromatic amines formed was not related to the administration of creatine. For 149 urine samples only 6 were found to have a higher HCA content. Most likely, elevated concentrations of different HCA were noted due to the diets used by the subjects (6 cases in the placebo group and 3 cases in the creatine supplementation group). 



Contrary to popular belief, creatine should not be associated with the formation of carcinogenic substances, heterocyclic aromatic amines.
