Fat measurement in men 

We measure – the cage, the pempka circle (we grasp in a vertical line) and the thigh – we catch the fold in the way it is marked with black 

lines in the picture. 

The result, of course, in millimeters. 

And now the formula for the calculation of fat content 

Body density = 1.1093800 – (0.0008267 * X3) + 0.0000016 * X3 ^ 2) – (0.0002574 * X4) 

Where 

X3 = Sum of measurements (cage, pempek, thigh) 

X3 ^ 2 = Sum of measurements (cage, pempek, thigh) raised to the power of the other. 

X4 = Age in years. 

In this way, we calculated the Body density. And now to calculate the percentage content 

BF% = (457 / Body density) – 414.2 

 

or 

 

BF% = (495 / Body density) – 450 

And we get a percentage of fat.

Women must take measurements of triceps, thighs and hips.

or 

BF% = (495 / Body density) – 450 

To get the most accuracy, do measurements at least 3 times, measure% bf for these measurements and calculate the average (especially if you do not have a fusilier) 

I advise you to use this method to check your progress in the diet because it is the most reliable, I wish you low measurements.
